Meg is 4 Months!

I can't believe Meg is already 4 months. The last 4 months have been wonderful. Here are some of tidbits about her at this age....

• She is HUGE! She weighs over 15 lbs, wears size 3 diapers, and can easily fit into 12 month clothes. Size 6-9 months fit her, but they are a little tight!
• She is so happy and content. She still loves watching people and being carried around in her Baby Bjorn.
• She is not much of a napper. Her poor teacher at Mother's Day Out always looks exhausted when I pick her up and she finally asked me how in the world do I get her to go to sleep.
• She loves her pacifiers and her thumb. She is so cute sucking on her thumb as you can see in the picture below. She loves putting her clothes in her mouth too.
• She eats about every two to three hours and at Mother's Day Out last week managed to drink 18 oz. of milk. I about died when the lady told me that. I think I have figured out that the bottles are flowing to fast for her. I plan on buying some different ones this weekend to see if that helps. At that rate she will end up on the front of the National Enquirer as the World's Biggest Baby!
• Her and Brody are really starting to interact more. I can feel the love between them. You can tell that both genuinely enjoy the other one. When she cries Brody puts his hands on her cheeks and says, "It's ok Meg...It's ok".
• She can roll over from her back to her front although she prefers not to roll at all. It is a lot of hard work when you are as big as she is!
• She still is talking up a storm and making lots of noises. She will laugh a little here and there too.
• Loves the book "Counting Kisses" and loves for me to give her kisses when she is all wrapped up in her swaddle
• She also loves for me to hold her up in the air and play airplane and helicopter with her
• When I sing the Itsy Bitsy Spider during the spider part she has started to put her hands together and try to do it. So cute!

Life is great and I love my little family. Bryson has been home for two weeks and is on vacation next week. It is amazing to see the dramatic difference in Brody when he is around and is amazing how much easier it is with him home. I will have Meg's official stats after her doctor's appointment on June 12th!

This is her new thing. Sucking on her thumb. I just love it.

I had to break some news to Meg. Her big brother is a Texan and she has the shirt to prove it thanks to a guy that Bryson used to work with in Texas!


I love this little outfit of hers. And of course I love the hat!
