First day back at work.....

So I had my first day back at work this week. The first day was not bad because mom kept the kids, but the second and third days were not fun at all. I know I am the luckiest person ever because I have a great job and work for a wonderful company. They have been extremely good to me over the last 6 years and it is great to just work very part-time. But, regardless of all of that it has not been easy going back. It took so much preparation just to get everything ready for all 3 of us to be going someplace and that day I spent 2 hours and 20 minutes driving everywhere and then was only at work for 4 hours. When I walk into work I look like I am going to stay the night somewhere. I have my breast pump bag, my purse, and then a bag of food (since I still feel like I am staring to death all of the time).

Meg did great at her Mother's Day Out, but when I picked her up the lady said that she had rolled over and asked if she did that often. Of course not....it was the first time she had rolled over and I missed it. I worked extremely hard to hold the tears back....and I don't cry very easily or very often. It didn't help that the lady was a little on the smelly side and that Meg was covered in spit-up (did the lady miss the 2 extra outfits I packed for her and the 2 bibs???). Of course I am being extremely dramatic and it really wasn't that bad, but I didn't miss anything when Brody was a baby....and Meg is my easy one so being with her 24 hours a day is a breeze. I am sure it all seems worse too because Bryson isn't home. So I went home and it was just me and the kids. I was so tired and ended up in bed at 8:30. I don't think I am used to sitting for so long and it made me more tired than normal. Wouldn't it be hard for you to leave this fat and sassy thing??

I am sure next week will be better.....or I hope so anyways!
