Don't let the title fool you! I am not homeschooling, but since Meg isn't in any type of "school" and she loves doing school type work I decided to organize a little spot for her and for Brody to do his homework and start doing some of the stuff she loves!

Nothing special but it works! It's so nice that all of her markers and books are so handy!

There is a wonderful
blog that has tons and tons of free educational printables for different age groups and each week she does a different letter with printables that go along with it. Meg is all about doing "homework" so this is perfect for her! Here she is coloring her alligators the right color!

Love that concentration! Some friends of ours gave her a few gymnastic leotards and she wore them for about a week straight.

So proud of herself!

Glitter painting her letter A

I printed off a lot of the sheets and put them in a 3 ring binder in protective sheets so that she can use dry erase markers and do them over and over. She feels so big getting to work while Brody does his homework!

First time she ever traced. I was impressed!

When Brody is at school and we aren't out running errands I try to play one on one with her. I broke out the lacing beads and she liked them!

The next week we movedon to letter B. Here she is tracing the letter in shaving cream!

And then making creatures out of play doh!

What an interesting creation. Who knew blocks, crayons, and gems could go together so well!

Things like this always make me wonder what is going on in her head! Such imagination!

I'm not sure anything makes Meg as happy as scissors, paper, and a stick of glue. She will cut and cut and cut. Here she cut things out of a magazine and then glued them onto a piece of paper! Brody would have never cared anything about this!

Yes Meg! You certainly are God's Princess! And mine too!
