We weren't able to see Aunt B and Uncle Rodney at Christmas so we made a trip down to Dallas on December 30th. We checked into a hotel late Friday night and of course the kids were up and at em early Saturday morning. We ate breakfast and then headed to see Aunt B. The kids always love seeing her and they think her condo is so cool! I left the kids and Bryson with Aunt B while I headed North to Ikea and the Container Store! I did some very quick shopping while they went to the Science Museum. I guess Meg had an encounter with a shark or a shark movie that didn't go over so well and so their time there didn't last as long as they (or should I say I) had hoped it would! We all met up for lunch at Buzz Brews (my absolute favorite in Dallas) and then headed back to Aunt B's to exchange Christmas presents!

The kids were thrilled with their presents and I absolutely loved mine. She framed pictures of the kids and them from her wedding! And she also framed a priceless picture of her and Bryson! Brook and I took the kids to a nearby park while Bryson ran to a Archery store. We had a great time chatting and the kids enjoyed the beautiful weather! After we headed north our recent suspecisions that Brody has to be allergic to cats. Brook had a cat and on the way to Denton Brody's eyes swelled up horribly and became so itchy that we had to run in CVS and get eye drops! Our next stop was to Ted and Rikki's house. They just welcomed their second baby, Grant Edward, and we were so excited to meet him, see their new house, and play with their daughter Sally! We had a great time with no pictures to prove it. 2011 was a terrific year and we are excited to see what 2012 has in store for us!
