Finally....Christmas Morning

After a less than great nights sleep Brody woke up EARLY to see what Santa had brought. According to Bryson, who was the lucky one that got to share a bed with him, he woke up a number of times starting around 2:00 a.m. and finally Bryson agreed to just let him get up. And so everyone else but Meg did too!

Walking to see his surprises! One of my favorite things from the weekend is what he said as soon as he saw his stuff. "I told you he wasn't going to bring me what I wanted." He absolutely loved everything he got but I guess he had asked for a big remote control helicopter (that says ages 12 and up) and he was disappointed he didn't get it!
Happy with the Angry Birds hat!

Sleepy head finally woke up and after a few yawns and streches decided to check out her stuff. Barbies are always a hit with her. All she asked for was a Barbie and a baby.

She also got a really cool microphone that an ipod or iphone hooks up to since she just loves to sing. We all love it!

Singing "If I die young"

Rosco is always so thrilled with all the excitement

Bryson was very happy with his Christmas present. For the first time ever I got him something that he didn't have to exchange. A new bow! The early wake up call quickly caught up with the kids. There were a few cranky moments, but we all managed to get ready and head to church with mom and dad in Wynnewood. The kids were not at their best (although what can I expect after all of the activities of the last few days) so I was happy when it was time to head back to Sulphur!

Meg enjoyed helping Rosco open his Christmas presents!

After eating some lunch it was time to pass out the gifts and get to opening!

Excited to get his yearly Nutcracker from Mimi and add it to his collection!

And Meg was happy to get her sno-globe! I am not sure what happened with her outfit. She wouldn't take her too small tights off and wore them all day with a shirt that was also a tad small!

Meg was excited to see Bumpy open his I-pad!

And Meg was even more excited to see a special gift from Bumpy!

A ride just for her!

My favorite part was toward the end of the day when the kids broke out into a sponteneous parade and the party that followed. Bryson was playing DJ and they had the best time breaking it down! Sometimes Christmas can be a little overwhelming trying to squeeze time in with everyone but the memories we make are always so worth it!
