Chickasha Christmas Lights

One Thursday night in December we continued our long standing tradition of driving to Chickasha to look at the lights. We were so happy that Cousin Shawn was able to join us again this year. After a delicious meal at the Onion Burger place we headed toward the giant Christmas tree.

Ready to go!
First stop....a camel ride!

Next stop.....Baby Jesus. Somehow they managed to talk Mary into holding Jesus.

Could this picture be any sweeter?

Family picture attempt on the beautiful bridge!

It was freezing that night but it meant there weren't many people there!

The playground is always Brody's favorite spot!

Trying to spin!

I was thankful to have an extra set of shoulders to hold Meg that night!

That picture attempt turned out great!

Checking out the ducks!

They wanted to feed the ducks so bad but we didn't have any bread. The lady in the picture had a huge bag of bread and wouldn't share one bit with the kids. She acted as if she was some kind of duck whisperer trying to talk to the ducks and getting them to "stay" or "come here". Kind. of. weird. Next year we will be prepared with our own bag of bread!

Feeling the love!

Dancing to the music!

Megs turn behind the camera!

More dancing!

Brody and Meg are really into silly poses when its picture time!

It was a such a fun night and I can't wait to do it again next year!
