Meg Turns 3

My sweet little girl turned three on January 28th! Her birthday happened to fall on a Saturday so we got to have her party on her actual birthday. I think that makes it so much more fun. She wanted a princess party and I wanted a cowgirl party. We settled on a cowgirl princess theme. And since we had experienced such a mild winter we decided to chance it and have it outside! It turned out that the weather was beautiful and we all had a great time!!!
Passing the time until the party starts! She loved the shirt I had made for her special day!
We made goodie bags with a cd of Meg's favorite songs
She loved her cake and with Valetines Day around the corner there was a ton of pink candy in the stores for our little candy buffet.
When Mimi arrived she had a surprise for Meg. Bumpy bought Meg a special dress to wear for her party that said "Cowgirl Princess". So we put the t-shirt back in the closet and wore her cute new dress instead. Her and Hannah were so cute matching!
Nana and Papa came to celebrate
Grandmother and Grandad loved her outfit
Yee-haw!
I love my little Cowgirl Princess
There were a number of geese that showed up across the street from us. These two were so sweet crossing the street holding hands all by themselves and feeding them with our neighbor. I loved watching them!
One last picture before party time!
My dad's friend Gary owns minature ponies and was so sweet to bring two for Meg's party. We went out to his house for Brody's 6th birthday and the kids had such a good time.
This little one was the perfect size for the kids to walk him around
A few of her friends from the party!
She loves her baby Georgia!
She wanted to carry her balloon bouquet around everywhere
I'm not sure when Bryson and Rob decided it would be fun to dress up all the time but it sure provides great laughs for everyone else! We all thought it looked like Cowboy Dan in the Parenthood movie!
So excited to blow out her candles. Notice all the boys? She has a serious shortage of girlfriends!
Hudson was stylin!
Katelyn was nice enough to be on present duty! She helped her unwrap everything and cleaned up the trash!
Sterling was a natural up on the horse!
Channing had all the big kids laughing doing tricks in the bounce house
She rode a number of times
She doesn't look very happy with Bryson's cutting job
Loving everyone singing to her
Giving Gary a good-bye hug (with Rapunzel in her hand)
I almost forgot we had a pinata so some of the kids had already left. Meg finally decided she wanted to give it a try!
How many kids can you pile on a trampoline???
Meg and her sweet sitter Mrs. Diane!
It finally broke open!
We couldn't have asked for a better day to celebrate our fun and spunky little girl and we were so thankful to have so many friends and family to celebrate with us. She is certainly loved!!!

So cute! I was looking at this with KK looking over my shoulder and she said something about Meggers. Finley came running across the room to see a picture of her friend Meg. And made sure to let all of us know that this is her friend. So she does have a girlfriend.:) And love that Finley remembers her!
