Bye Bye Bottle

Today was a good day! I put ALL of the bottles that we have at the Varner house and put them in a bag and placed them in the garage for us to take and donate (not sure if anyone really will want these bottles but I just can't bring myself to throw away all of those Dr. Brown bottles). Meg is officially off the bottle and has been since we got back from vacation. Yeah for her! It actually has been pretty easy just like it was for Brody. It is so nice not to worry about always having a bottle with me when we are out and about! Please enjoy the random pictures from the last week or so!
They are such cuddlers when the TV is on
They also still do a lot of wrestling. Meg is quite impressive with her moves. She can push Brody to the crowd and then she sits on his stomach and bounces up and down. We all just love it....including Brody!

She is getting a lot more hair but still not enough to justify a bow without a headband. I can't wait for that though. She is starting to not care for those headbands!

Meg enjoyed playing with Hannah's "big girl" toys at Houston's party a couple of weeks ago. I love how she can squat and play at the same time!

She loves drinking out of a straw. Juice boxes are her favorite!
Brody has said a few funny things here lately (of course)! Bryson had his eyes checked a while back. We went down to Pauls Valley on a Sunday afternoon and had lunch with Papa and then headed up to the eye clinic. So Brody was able to watch a lot of the examination and here what Bruce had to say about Bryson's eyes. A few days after this Brody was talking about Bryson's eyes and he said, "Why does daddy have a stinky eye"? I wasn't sure what he was talking about and so he said it a few more times and then finally I realized what he was saying and I said, "No Brody daddy doesn't have a stinky eye he has a stigmatism". That made a lot more sense!
We also have some close friends who are going through the in-vitro process and every night when Brody says he prayers he asks God to help them have a baby. It started out just like that and then one night he asked God to help them have two babies. Every night it is a different number. One night it was 150, one night it was 200, and one night it was 21. Hopefully Brody's prayers will work and they will soon be pregnant with 1 baby!!!
