One month to go....

We are officially one month away from having Meg....although with recent happenings I continue to worry that she is going to come even earlier than that. A couple of weeks ago I had some mild bleeding and started having cramping (or that is what I thought it was). After my doctor's appointment I realized that the cramping was contractions. You would think I would have remembered what they felt like....how quickly we forget! The doctor checked me and all was good. She told me to take it as easy as I can. This is getting easier to do because walking of almost any amount results in very uncomfortable feelings.....this includes walking back and forth from my desk at work to the copy machine (Is that ridiculous or what??). It is so weird for me because with Brody I walked a mile or two everyday up until the day before I delivered him and never felt anything. It is an odd feeling to be so inactive and to be laying around on the couch so much.

On Friday I started throwing up and continued to be nauseated and dizzy throughout the day and had more cramping. This lasted until Saturday night. I debated over and over on whether I should go to the hospital and get checked out, but continued to talk myself out of it. I have been so lazy that I have yet to unpack all of our Christmas stuff....and that is very out of character for me! I think since I went into pre-term labor with Brody at 34 weeks and I was having contractions every 2 minutes and never even felt them I am a little more paranoid then I would normally be. This morning I had 10 contractions in 30 minutes!

Regardless of all of that....I am still enjoying the last few weeks of being pregnant. I know I am lucky to have gotten pregnant so easily and I know that so many other people have much rougher pregnancies than mine. Meg is also so much more active than Brody and it is fun to feel her move around.
Brody has been testing Meg's bed out to make sure it is safe and secure. He has been climbing in it and jumping up and down. No worries though....we will make sure he doesn't do this once she arrives!

Brody in his Spiderman bath towel in Meg's bed. This is after he completely freaked out over me using some batman foam soap on him in the bathtub. Most kids would love that stuff....not him. Bryson had to put him in the shower with him so that Brody would feel like it actually all got washed off! Brody hiding from the camera in her bed

Glad that you had a great Christmas. Just think...you'll have two kiddos at your Christmas next year.

I like the paint job in the nursery and would love to see more pictures.

Hey, Ilena! I just saw your comment on our blog. Brandon's grandmother made that table skirt. It matched the old bedding in that room and really doesn't match what's in there now, but I can't find any pre-made anywhere. You would think a plain pink tablecloth would be easy to find, but not so much. If you have any luck, let me know :)
How are you feeling? Getting excited??
