- When we brought the Christmas tree into our house he kept saying, "That tree not go in my house". "Back outside"
- He has been learning the story of Baby Jesus at bible school and let me just say, he loves Baby Jesus. We have a nativity scene out and he likes to carry Baby Jesus around. So sweet.
- He had been saying "Oh my gosh" a lot, but it didn't actually sound like gosh. So, Bryson and I had been trying to get him to say something else and the other night he goes, "Oh my corn!". Not sure where it came from, but I guess it will work. He also says awesome, neat, and wow all the time. I must overuse those words!
- After tailgating for the Texas Tech game Brody and I were leaving to come back home and I had to back out of the most extremely tight parking spot/alley. The entire time I was doing it all Brody would say is, "You can't do it, You can't do it, You can't do it". What a confidence builder he is!!
- When we were getting him excited about Christmas we told him that Santa would be coming to see him and he said, "Me not like Santa, Me not want to see him". So we told him that Santa would be bringing him toys and he said, "Me have toys, I don't need any". I thought he might change his mind, but he has stuck with his opinion of Santa.
- The other day I was in his room and he came in there and gave me a hug and said, "Mommy, I happy". I told him I was happy too. Then about 30 minutes later he ran up to me and said, "Mommy, I sad". I asked him why and he said in the saddest little voice, "I left my monster truck DVD in daddy's truck. I forgot it." Then he said later, "Mommy, I mad. I left my monster truck DVD in daddy's truck". I am not sure where he learned about feelings, but I sure thought it was cute that he was expressing them to me.
- Everytime that I go with him to the bathroom and turn on the light for him he always says, "Good job". I am not sure why, but it is nice he appreciates me.
- Last night we went to the Thunder basketball game. The cheerleaders were out dancing after the first period. He looked up at me and said, "I like the girl in the back. The one with white hair". I guess he might have a thing for blondes.
- Brody is also asking "why" about anything and everything. I love his curiosity, but I now believe that because I said, because, and why do you think are perfectly acceptable answers to a number of questions.

I think it's great that you are writing these things down....it's amazing how much you forget, even when you think you'll NEVER forget them. You're a good momma.
Hahaha I wish I could have Brody around me all the time!!
