One of the biggest highlights of summer for the kids this year was going to church camp for the first time. I never dreamed they would want to go away for two nights but they both were insistent on it and were so excited. And camp certainly did not disappoint. They came back saying they pretty much had the greatest time of their lives! And thankfully Kimanda was there to take some pictures for me. Since she was in Meg's cabin there are a lot more of her.
They played lots and lots of games and were outside a ton. Of course the kids loved that!

She was so pumped about sleeping in bunk beds. She was mad when she learned I told the counselors that she couldn't sleep on a top bunk. Even with that rail she would've managed to fall out!

I learned after camp that most parents send mail so the kids will have something. Thankfully Kimanda wrote some cards for them to get. The kids still gave me grief when they got home about not sending them mail!

Brody thinks that Riley who is pushing him and Trevor are two of the coolest guys ever! I knew he had a blast hanging out with them for 3 days!
I am not sure the name of this game but according to Brody it was the most fun game ever and he wants to create a court just like this at our house.

I was soooo ready for my babies to come home on that Friday night. I missed them so bad and couldn't wait to hear all about it. Of course like always they never just immediately start telling me all about it but over the weekend more and more came out and they had the best time ever. The favorite quote came from Meg when she said, "I didn't even really think about you. I thought that was my new life." That girl kills me!
