On Monday I went up to Brody's school to see him get his certificate for all A's the first nine weeks!
So very proud! An then I checked the kids out so we could head to Wynnewood to surprise my dad for Veteran's Day!
And surprised he was. We arrived right as the assembly was ending but we caught the parade! We then headed to Sulphur to enjoy the beautiful day. I knew the park would be beautiful and it was one of the last pretty days for a while so I wanted to take advantage of it. Brody was having so much fun helping Bumpy with a new project that he didn't want to go with us girls!
I used the opportunity to take some pictures of my beautiful girl and the beautiful surroundings. My mom actually took most of the pictures!
We tried to go on a little nature walk but someone was extremely tired and cranky. Just goes to show pictures don't always show the whole story!
We ended up driving up Bromide Hill rather than hiking like we normally do. And this little toot didn't want to listen to our safety advice. She has no fear when it comes to heights and falling I guess!
Mimi and her girl!
Mom hiked down and we drove to the bottom and I snapped a few more pictures. This is my favorite!
Later that evening I talked the kids into a few more pictures around Mimi and Bumpy's house. I was hoping for a Christmas card picture but what I was trying to do didn't exactly work. But here were a few others I liked!
Can't believe how big he is!
This may be my favorite picture of him! This is naughty face when he is trying to pull something over on me but he just can't lie.
The happy face on Meg's face soon turned into lots of tears which made for a very long ride back home. Baby girl wasn't feeling well and yesterday we found out why. She has pneumonia. We have logged some serious time cuddling on the couch but I have actually really enjoyed it. The cuddles not the sickness! She missed so much school this week and she hated dropping Brody off each day and not getting to go in with him! Hoping she's good as new come Monday!!!
