Red Ribbon Parade

Moore has a Red Ribbon Parade each October to end the week long Red Ribbon Week at school to bring awareness about Drug Prevention.  The kids had been looking forward to it for quite some time!

We were able to enjoy the parade before heading to Meg's soccer game and then tailgating!

Just love their treat bags from Ruby Freckles!

Me and my sweet boy!

If there is a character she always insists on a picture with them!

It's starting!!!

We were all happy to see the Southmoore Band and Madalynne leading them!

The motorcycle gang was SO loud!

This was the funniest part of the parade.  Potential catastrophe was avoided thanks to an observant parade watcher who chased this float down right as it was about pull the power lines down thanks to a too high cross.  Someone quickly showed up with some power tools and took the cross apart!

Waving never gets old!

The Star Wars characters were their favorite!

The weather turned so yucky after the parade but it didn't dampen this Sooner Fan's spirits since he was going to the game.  And to top it off our favorite Sooner, Jordan Evans, got major playing time that game and did so good.  Brody came home that night a very happy little boy!!!
