September/October Recap

September and October seemed to fly by.  Here a quick glimpse of what all we were up to thanks to my phone!
Most Saturdays we spent at least some time watching Meg do her thing on the soccer field.  It was kind of strange to see her get worse as each week went on instead of better.  We are still trying to figure that one out. She became a little timid and too nice out on the fields.

Brody and I made a run in Target one day and found these two jamming out in the front seat when we returned!

Brody got to go with Annie on her first trip out to the land to hunt!

She was pooped out afterwards!

Meg hated going to Brody's flag football games each Sunday afternoon.  There were no younger siblings on Brody's team so she didn't have anyone to play with.  She spent a lot of time on the Ipad and our phones those Sundays!

We celebrated the birthday boy on his actual birthday with breakfast at Chick-fil-a!

Two dogs means lots of cuddle time!

And we celebrated Cooper's 5th birthday!  So fun that he and Brody share a birthday!!!

We made it to a number of Southmoore games to watch Madalynne lead the band!

Sweet soccer friends!

Sometimes Brody wasn't real thrilled about sitting through his sisters games either!

Had a fun trip to the State Fair with Aunt B and Gran B

We hung out in the lego tent for a ridiculously long time.  We all love legos!!!

She always manages to talk us into letting her get her face painted!

Snoozes!

Since we didn't make it to the OU/Notre Dame game we met the Cunningham's for breakfast at Ozzie's.  About 5 minutes after this picture Brody was trying to show Georgia a dance move and completely tripped over my purse hurt himself and drinks went flying all over the table.  Eating out with us is never dull!

She did like helping daddy work the chains!

Another trip out to the land with Annie!

I later discovered that all trips to the land with Bryson include kids getting to ride in the front seat of the truck, chili cheese tater tots at Sonic, and soda pop.  I guess I can tolerate all of this if it means an evening to myself!

One more while I was getting ready the kids decided to pretend to be Spider Man.  They yelled for me to come see them and I couldn't believe how high they had climbed in my closet!

Annie got used to riding in the car a lot!

Last minute trip to Ardmore to stay in a hotel with Bryson while he was in a golf tournament was so much fun!

Beautiful weather the next day meant a trip to the park!

Meg's asthma really did a number on her in October which resulted in lots of sleeping in random spots and at random times of the day!

Color time with Georgia

Testing Halloween costumes!

Pumpkin painting!

Love sleeping Meg pictures!  Plays hard and crashes hard!

Meg showing off her big girl Bible she had been asking for.  She even got her name in rainbow letters!

Loved her artwork!

Pick up time!

Meg noticed one morning in the mirror that her shirt said Love.  She said like, "I love you".  And then an idea popped in her head (this happens a lot) and she just had to write Cooper a letter right that minute.  So she went and wrote Love I Love Cooper heart Meg.  I had to help her with the spelling but it cracked me up that she wrote it like she was dyslexic.  My only guess is that's how Love looked in the mirror on her shirt and she just wrote the whole thing like that.  This girl cracks me up with how her mind works and her imagination.

In the process of writing it which made us late for school. There's no stopping her once she gets something in her head.

The school drop off line is kind of long this year which means lots of time for pictures in the car while we wait!

The sun was in her eyes!

We spent fall break at Mimi and Bumpy's and it was one of the best weekends ever.  The kids spent the majority of their time outside playing Star Wars with their pretend troopers.  They set up rope traps and used Bumpy's tools as weapons and then he made them each a bazooka.  They were so proud of them!

We also did some canvas painting!

And we participated in the Orphan Love Mud Run.  It was freezing.....literally!

I could only keep up with Meg.  Huston and Brody were too fast!

The huge slide!

This mud pit about did her in.  She lost her shoes in it!

Of course we always make lots of trips to target!

She also had an obsession with decorating balloons this month and she always loved taping everything to her door!

We got to see our friends Kinley and Cooper in their 2nd grade musical performance.

Took Mimi to Pop's for her birthday!

Love these sweet girls!!!
