Halloween

Halloween was just perfect this year!  Our first Halloween activity was Meg's party at her dance class!
She was able to invite one friend and she picked her bestie, Cooper.  So glad he is such a good sport and was willing to tag along with her to dance class!
Not sure what is happening in this picture but it was the best I could capture since we aren't allowed in the dance room.  Cooper is manly enough to not be bothered by being the only boy!
After learning dance moves to some fun Halloween songs it was snack time!!!

Such a fun little party with sweet friends!

Brody had to get in on the picture action!

Silly faces are always a must!

Then it was wear your costume to gymnastics day.  As you can see Meg decided to wear a different costume each time she got to dress up!

She sure loves her gymnastics class!

On Halloween it was dress as your favorite storybook character.  Meg picked Cinderella despite my suggestion of Fancy Nancy.  I always love seeing Mrs. Kirk as Little Bo Peep each year!

As soon as we picked Brody up from school we headed to Norman.  I wanted to trick or treat at a few friend's houses before going to our neighborhood.  First up was our friend Nona Sue from church!
The assisted living center was having a little Halloween Party in the lobby so the kids got lots of candy from the residents and they all got a kick out of the kids!
Such beautiful trees!

Then we made a quick stop by Georgia and Cooper's house.  As you can see Meg already changed clothes!
Then we stopped at Grandmother and Grandad's house.  They had little goody bags all ready for them and Grandmother had even put on her "Cat Woman" costume to surprise the kids.

The kids got very into pictures for about 5 minutes.  I wasn't going to argue!

Then when we got back home Gran B was already there ready to have fun!  Our neighborhood had a little Halloween Party in the open area across from our house.  They had some games, food, and music.  The kids loved this!

They really enjoyed seeing friends from school there!

Annie enjoyed herself too!

Fun game of musical chairs

So impressed by my kids musical chair skills.  Brody won.  And since I am obsessed with trees in the fall I can't get over how pretty these trees look.  I love sitting on my couch with the front door open and seeing these trees at night.  Can't wait to be surrounded by lots of trees when we move.

Bryson snapped a rare picture of me with our little Dallas Cowboy football player!

Costume contest time.  Meg managed to win.  I think it was because she kept loudly shouting "I'm a fairy peacock" over and over!
Quite proud of her medal!

Meg and her sweet friend from Pre-K!

Another friend stopped by and ended up trick or treating with us, but not before Meg changed outfits again.  This costume was a random mixture of a superhero cape and a Rapunzel hat.  The kids ran full speed from house to house and then came back to hand candy out.  It was such a fun night!!!
