Disney World-Our Last Day

After 4 wonderful days at Disney World it was finally the dreaded last day.  My kids were super bummed out about having to go back home, but thankfully our flight didn't leave until 7:00 that night!  We still had a full day of fun at the Magic Kingdom ahead of us!  We got there right as the park opened so we had some time for my favorite part.....pictures!!!

Such a sweet moment.  I think it last about 1 second!
Loved all the fall decorations!

Such a fun time traveling with my sister and mom!

These pictures just crack me up!  All their idea!

That day we squeezed in as many rides as we could!

And Meg had to stop by and visit Tinker Bell!

One of the best characters to meet!
Vidia was there too!

Loved seeing Rapunzel's tower.  The kids really wished you could go up in it!

I think we rode the Magic Carpets about 10 times!

And we managed to have lunch at the Beasts Castle!  It looked just like the movie on the inside.  Unfortunately the ordering process (on computers) was quiet the nightmare and the food was not kid-friendly at all.  But us adults sure enjoyed our meal!

And of course we squeezed in more Dumbo riding!

And I insisted that Kena's family had to go on It's a Small World.  You can't go to Disney World and not go on that ride!  It is still Meg's favorite.  She notices every little detail!

My favorite part is how my kids describe all the different countries represented in completely politically incorrect terms and then try to pronounce "goodbye" in all the different languages at the end of the ride.  I just sit back and shake my head.  They don't know any better.  It's especially funny when you have a boat full of other people in there with you that are obviously not from the United States.  That reminds me.  I am pretty sure September must be the month that the most foreigners visit Disney World.  There were more people speaking other languages than there was speaking English.  It made me think back to my trip to Paris and gave me a glimpse of probably what all of the French think about us foreigners!

The new Fantasyland is really pretty spectacular!

Huston and Meg held hands for a little longer than her and Brody!

More shell riding!

And one last spin on the teacups!

And Meg caught one last performance in front of the castle.  Mimi thought the top of a trash can was the perfect viewing spot for Meg!

We made it back to our hotel around 2:00 and had time to do a little swimming, eating, and charging of the electronics!  The bus picked us up around 4:00 and we made the sad drive to the airport.  We noticed the weather was starting to look a little gloomy and by the time we made it to security it was pouring down rain.  Security at Orlando is always a nightmare.  They do not have a very good system but we managed to make it through.  By that point there was some serious lightening going on.  Our flight ended up being delayed quiet a bit but we found a great place to camp out and the kids all did great.  Before long we were on the plane and it was not a full flight.  I got to sit by the best plane passenger ever....Meg...who fell asleep within the first 30 minutes which meant I slept the whole way home too!  The flights were smooth and uneventful....at least I guess so!

Of course Brody didn't sleep a wink!  We all perked up when we saw this sweetheart was waiting for us!  She wasn't there just to see us.  It just so happened that about 15 minutes after we arrive Bryson and the rest of the guys arrived too!

So happy to be reunited!  As much as I hoped going to Disney World would make me miss him less I was wrong.  It made me miss him more!

The three made some incredible memories together!  We finally got home around midnight.  The kids and Bryson had to go to work and school the next day and I had to tackle unpacking and laundry!
Bryson's trip was a success!  Look at the goat he killed!
