On Labor Day we finally got to go to my favorite park....the Magic Kingdom! We slept in a little since we knew it would be another long day.
Our rides on the bus were always adventurous. My kids are not those type of kids who just sit in one spot and don't say a word. No they are constantly moving from one seat to another and talking to anyone who will listen! We got lots of looks while we were there!
I love this place and Meg loves it just as much as I do!
We had time to kill while KK got her Starbucks fix so we had more time for fun pictures!
This street performer was a hoot. She reminded me of Paula Deen!
Starbucks equals happiness for Kena and Hannah!
Waiting in line is sometimes so much fun they don't want to get on the ride!
We did the Bippity Boppity Boutique this time and it was so much fun! I wished that Meg's hair was still long because it really limited the hairdos we could do!
She looked beautiful and you could tell she felt beautiful too. Even if her hairdo did remind me somewhat of Honey Boo Boo!
Sprinkling the pixie dust!
Her reaction to seeing herself. I think she felt like a princess!
Her reaction was more subdued. Mine....not so much!
Pretty as a princess!
While the girls were getting the royal treatment Mimi and the boys were riding rides and doing boy stuff. It was so sweet to see how the Huston and Brody reacted to the girls new look. They were both very curious about Meg's hair and how it got so long!
We spent the rest of the afternoon riding rides. It had been a little busy that morning but by the afternoon it really started to thin out and was very enjoyable with very short wait times for most of the rides!
And then it was time for the parade. We were pleasantly surprised that it started at a different location this time so we ended up being at the beginning of the parade instead of the end. My kids love them a Disney World parade!
The hair in this picture cracks me up! It looks like a rats nest!
After the parade we headed to Cinderella's Castle. We had a 4:30 dinner reservation that we were all looking forward to. This had been one of my favorite meals last time so I was excited that we all got to go this time! Up first.....picture with Cinderella!
I wondered if it would be enjoyable for the boys and it absolutely was. I think they enjoyed it just as much as the girls. They received swords and the girls received magic wands so they were all tickled!
And this girl barely ate a thing at every table service meal because they all had word searches. She would spend the entire meal each time finding all of the A's, all of the B's.....you get the picture! It was great for keeping her still during meals, but not so great for getting food in her tummy!
Meg was the most excited about Ariel!
We made MiMi get her picture too!
I thought this one was so cute!
I'm still not sure what to think about Jasmine and her outfit.
It just didn't seem like there was enough to it!
Then it was time for the waving of the wands and the wishing!
Wishing is serious business!
It better come true!
Oh enough of this wishing junk!
She was most excited to decorate her own cupcake. That she never took a bite of!
We all felt so refreshed after dinner and the park had thinned out so much! We headed over to the new areas of Fantasyland!
Gaston's Tavern
Prince Eric's Castle
Then it was off to Ariel's new ride.....that we were able to just walk right on!
The ride was so cute and so fun!
Then we headed to Belle's house. Brody took a little rest in her rocking chair!
She sure loves to read!
The kids were then selected for different parts to act out the story of Beauty and the Beast. Huston was picked for the Beast and boy was he a good one!
Hannah was Mrs. Potts!
Huston was blushing when they were dancing together!
Taking a bow after a great performance!
Tiana is still the best Character to meet. They are so friendly and spend so much time talking to the kids! And it was a nice surprise that Prince Naveen was there too!
I was so proud that we made it all day with no meltdowns and then we got to enjoy the Electrical Parade!
Meg looks like she could keep going but I think Mimi was worn out! The parade was awesome. Everyone loved it and it was so much longer than last time. The fireworks were great but we had a bad viewing spot, Huston wasn't loving them, Hannah was starting to feel sick, and Meg wasn't loving the loud noises! We were headed to meltdown city fast. Hannah ended up going to see the on-site Nurse and got some medicine and then we headed to wait for the bus. Of course this was the only time that it took forever to catch a bus.
This girl was done long before we even got on the bus and I'm pretty sure she dreamed about all the magical things she got to do that day!!!
