Gnomes!

One morning in May Meg woke up and wasn't feeling that great.  She decided she should stay home from school.  I was happy to have a day with nothing to do but cuddle on the couch with her.  Around mid-morning Bryson realized that he had forgot something he needed at work and so Meg and I ran it up to him.  She had perked up some and so we decided to head over to one of our favorite parks at the Myriad Gardens.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the whole park had been transformed with gnomes everywhere!

They had a scavenger hunt to find about 20 different types of gnomes, then she made a hat, decorated a cookie, and painted a gnome.

Then she got busy playing!  She always loves to look at the Devon Tower!

And this was the first time the splash pad that was put in last year was actually working.  She couldn't resist getting in.....clothes and all!

It actually started to pour down rain and they shut it down because of the lightning!  I love days that turn out to be so much fun!
