More about Meg

I do have lots to update about Brody but there are things about Meg I just don't want to forget!

*She loves to fake sleep. She does this in the car and Brody will say, "Meg fell asleep." I will look back and it looks like she is sound asleep. A few minutes later she will pop her head up and laugh!
*She gives the biggest, tighest bear hugs ever. Sometimes they catch me by surprise. One day she did it when I leaned down in the foyer at church to pick something up and she knocked me over.
*She loves to help me water my plants. She intentionally makes puddles of mud so she can splash in them.

*She is a pincher and a hitter but it is never done in anger. She thinks that is a fun way to play. We are working on this!
*She is a pro at putting on her shoes by herself. Most of the time she even ends up with them on the right feet.

*She loves posing for the camera right now as you can tell.

*She dislikes hats and will always ask for a bow instead.

*She walks on her tippie toes if she doesn't have shoes on

*She knows the difference between guys and girls. She likes to point out when she sees a guy and if he is tall she will say, "Big guy." One day she swore that this one little boy was a girl and no amount of reassuring from me that it was a boy would work for her. He had long hair and in her eyes that meant he was a she!

*She loves to fight and asks to do this all the time. She loves fighting with Brody and her daddy and really anyone else who will indulge her. I don't much care for this.

*She calls Bryson and Brody "the guys". She likes to yell at them and say, "Hey guys!" But not in a hello kind of way but instead like you need to pay attention to me guys!

*Today I asked her if she was momma's girl and she said no. So I asked her if she was daddy's girl and she said no. Then she said, "I Brody girl". So sweet. She still asks Brody to rock her at night. He still hasn't take her up on the offer!

*She copies almost everything that he does.

*She always wants to wear his soccer cleats when he is practicing or playing soccer. Thankfully we have two pair. She gets a lot of looks in them. They are 4 sizes too big but I don't think she has fallen once while wearing them.

*Since recovering from her surgery she has slept every night for 11 1/2 to 12 hours straight. It is amazing. Obviously it is confirmed that Meg is a great sleeper as long as she feels good.

*She is so happy and energetic and I just love her to pieces. I think to myself often that I wish I could bottle up her happiness and give it to all the crabby people in the world. I know the world would be a lot better place if I could!
