The Elephants are Back!!!

The elephants at the OKC zoo have been on vacation in Tulsa for the the last few years mating and during that time they built a huge new home for them at the OKC zoo. Gran B let us know that they were having a special preview night for Zoo Friends and when the weather turned out beautiful that day we decided to all go together! And I am so glad we did. It was after the zoo had closed so it wasn't busy and they had all sorts of fun activities for the kids. Our favorite was the free Krispy Kreme donuts and free carousel rides!!!

All the other exhibits were closed so after seeing the elephants we spent the rest of the evening on the carousel and at the playground!

I think Meg rode the carousel about 15 times, give or take a few!

And this is her sad little face after she got in trouble by the nice old man running the carousel when she tried to run onto the carousel through the exit gate instead of entrance gate. So sad! Notice the Krispy Kreme leftovers covering her mouth!

Still not recovered from the shock of getting in trouble. He must not have known that most people (besides her mommy and daddy) just let Meg do whatever she wants!

The following pictures are some of my favorites ever even thought the quality isn't the best. They both are so happy. Just pure bliss!
