She is starting to really enjoy playing with her baby dolls. She loves on them and rocks them and pretends to feed them. She still won't let them ride in the baby stroller though. It always has to be empty!Saturday, September 4, 2010
Sweeter by the day....
Our little Meg has always been a sweetie but here lately it seems like she is gets a little sweeter every day! Her and I have a couple of hours each morning all to ourselves while Brody is at school and it is so fun to play with her and go on outings together!

She likes to try to carry as many things as possible. Here she is trying to gather up all of her babies!
I thought she looked so cute for church in her cousin Macy's dress! We had to snap a couple of pictures! Meg is also my little helper these days. She loves to help pick up and to throw things in the trash for me. She also likes to take Brody his milk and make sure that he has his blanket all the time. She doesn't understand that he only wants it sometimes. She wants him to have it ALL the time! It is just amazing that she understands almost everything we say. She still doesn't say a lot of words on her own, but when she is asked to say words then she is very good at attempting to say what you say. And she is so good at doing her signs (more, please, and thank you) unprompted and at the appropriate times!
And of course a picture with her look alike! Meg is still an "on the go" girlie but there are some new things that she LOVES to do that involve sitting. The girl is so into play-doh, paint, and markers. She climbs up to the kitchen table and gets out one of their placemats and that is my sign that she wants to do her artsy stuff. She "asks" to do this multiple times each day and sometimes it can hold her attention for....get ready for this......30 or more minutes! Amazing! I am thrilled that she is interested in this kind of stuff since Brody never has been. And she also still loves to sit and read books and sing songs together. Her new favorites are "The Wise Man" and "Baby Bumble Bee". She does the motions to both of them and trys to say the words. There is just nothing sweeter than Meg (to us anyways)!
