Fun with the Ford Family and Friends

Last week Meg and I joined Rob and Cooper on a little trip to Shawnee for Jaynie Ford's 3rd birthday party. It was a princess themed party so I thought this would be something fun Meg and I could do together. So Brody and Bryson stayed home and had some guy fun and we joined two of the Cunninghams (Carolina had a Junior League meeting) for a evening full of fun! I love the Ford Family! We had such a good time hanging out with them in college! One of my favorite times with them was a ski trip we took with a lot of Betas one Spring Break. So much fun! And Katie's sister, Annie, was Brody's fantastic babysitter for a year while she was in college and now works for Public Strategies (who I used to work for). So needless to say I was excited to see all of Jaynie's family and help her celebrate her 3rd birthday!

I think Cooper and Meg had a great time because this is how they ended the night!

And then a little good night smooch! Carolina and I were dying laughing and Rob thought we needed to stop it all!

They did great riding in the car! Meg doesn't much like the car unless she has a movie going. So they watched a little Yo Gabba Gabba and shared their snacks, drinks, and pacifiers!

I didn't take the best of pictures. It is hard to take pictures and keep up with the kids. They enjoyed the homemade cupcakes. So delicious!!!

And they enjoyed watching the big kids swing at the pinata! And they both discovered a love of tootsie rolls! Rob and I both commented on how neither ate anything but junk that night even though they had delicious food available!

Look at all those princesses! I tried to get Meg to wear a princess dress and she HATED it. She would throw herself on the floor at the sight of it and acted like it hurt her when I put it on. Oh well! I think Bryson is completely fine if she isn't into the princess stuff!

And look at Jaynie's sweet little brother Jack and his proud Grandpa! They sat together all night! Thank you Fords for inviting us.....we had a great time!
