This year MiMi and Bumpy planned a great surprise for the grandkids. A trip to Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, TX. They had the surprise wrapped and the kids opened it on Christmas morning. The plan was to load up and leave that morning, but due to the snow we decided to postpone the trip until the weekend of January 8th (funny how that snow and ice keeps messing up our plans).
The kids thought the bunkbeds were pretty neat. You can tell that Brody was really excited to go swimming. He was the first one with his swimming suit on!
Meg LOVED the water. She crawled in it and walked through it and didn't care if the water got in her face. That is the one thing about Great Wolf.....you can't escape the water. Everywhere you turn there is a bucket of water waiting to dump on your head or a little kid behind a water gun waiting to spray you with a ton of water!

We made the mistake of taking family photos right as we were getting ready to leave. We were all so exhausted!

We had a fabulous weekend and can't thank MiMi and Bumpy for such an awesome time!
