A Trip to Branson

A couple of months ago our good friends from church, Jon and Stephanie, asked if we would want to go to Branson for a couple of nights. After my mom agreed to keep the kids.....we were in! They had stayed at Chateau on the Lake a couple of years before and so that is where we went back to. It was a fabulous hotel and we had such a fun, relaxing, and memorable weekend with them! The weekend might have included Bryson twisting our arms to take an old timey photo that resulted in me and Stephanie in fishnet hosiery and empty Jack Daniel's bottles in our hands. It was certainly a funny experience and we have the picture to prove it. The rest of the time included a little shopping, a lot of eating, some relaxing, and a ton of laughter. I sure missed the kids, but it was a nice break. They were in great hands with my mom and dad and it was nice to see how much they missed me. They were both fighting over who got to sit in my lap. It's nice to be loved!
