After leaving Pauls Valley we headed down to Sulphur. Santa had planned on the kids being in Sulphur on Christmas morning so it was pretty important that we get there! We decided to go ahead and let the kids open the gifts from me and Bryson so they would have new stuff to play with the rest of the day since it was pretty obvious we weren't going anywhere! Meg didn't really care too much about opening or about the toys she received. She is just so busy that she doesn't want to sit still to play....she just wants to MOVE! But Brody was happy with his toys and absolutely loved spending the rest of the day at Mimi and Bumpys!

He wanted this shoes SO bad and was super excited to get them. We heard so often "I really wanted this" about the various gifts he was opening! He has worn the shoes nonstop the last two days!

Our family tradition is on Christmas Eve they get to open two presents. One is their Christmas PJ's and another is a Christmas book. I write a note to each of them inside the book about special things that have happened that year and how they have changed, etc. We then read the books and head off to bed!
