Meg is officially one month away from her first birthday. She is very excited! It doesn't seem like there have been a whole lot of new developmental milestones this last month, but there are a few new fun things she is doing and that we are loving.
- The girl is still in LOVE with music of all kinds. Bryson's mom discovered one night that she even likes classical music (such a sophisticated girl). When music is on she bounces her legs up and down, bops her head forward, and sometimes even gets her left leg a little in the air and kicks it. We think all of the things are incredibly cute!
- She has takes between 2 to 5 steps on her own, but only when we try really hard to get her to. I have also noticed her take leaps between one piece of furniture to another.
- She likes to "tear Brody up". Or at least that is what Bryson calls it. Bryson and Brody play fight all the time and now Meg has started to participate. She crawls on top of Brody and hits him on his face and his ear. Brody usually screams and runs away from her. Bryson thinks she is a pretty tough cookie. Not sure what I think about all of this.
- She shakes her head yes in agreement to a number of things. When she likes what she is eating she does the head bob. This is one of my particular favorite things that she does.
- She loves hitting people in the face. Of course these are just love pats and if you have some crazy response she gets so tickled.
- She has become a momma's girl. She still goes to other people most of the time with no problem, but I have noticed a tight grip on my shirt a lot more often and sometimes she fusses when someone else holds her and as soon as I get her she is A-Ok!
She found my old rocking chair at Mimi and Bumpy's and loved it. It was the perfect spot for watching her Baby Einstein movies!

She loves pasta of any kind and this is what she looked like after Cousin Hannah fed her!
Meg is SO excited that she now has enough hair to wear a bow. This is obviously a little bit of a strech, but it did stay in for a little while!
