Blog Award

Thank you Kyndal for giving Varner Family Fun a Blog Award. I didn't even know these existed...but I will take any award that comes my way! I have loved reading Kyndal's blog about their life in Pittsburgh and seeing her little guy Kaiser grow!

1. Blogs! This should come as no surprise. I love writing my blog and I love even more reading other people's blogs. It is a great way for me to keep up with people and to know what is going on in their world. I think you can learn a lot more about people through their blog then what they would normally tell you in person or over the phone! Plus...I get to see cute pictures of their kids!

2. McDonalds! Yes, I love McDonalds. Not necessarily the actual restaurant itself but I love their food. This is one of the best things about having a kid. I can use Brody as an excuse to go there. And I don't really enjoy fast food in general. The only fast food places I actually will eat at are Chick-Fil-A, Arby's, and Sonic (and on a rare ocassion Taco Bell).

3. Being a mom! I love being a mom more than I ever thought I would. I remember in high school I wondered whether or not I would even want to have kids. I always thought I wanted to be a career woman. After having kids I realize that this is the "job" I was meant to do. I do love my actual job too, but nothing is as wonderful as being at home with Brody and Meg. Now I have started to think that I might want a third :)

4. Looking on the internet at real estate and vacation spots! I have no intention of buying a house but that doesn't stop me from checking out all of the latest listings. I think I could've been a good realtor. I also love finding potential vacation spots although I will probably never actually go to any of the places I have found. Probably would have fun as a travel agent!

5. Bryson's cooking! It doesn't matter what he cooks...it is always delicious. We can each make the same thing and his will be 10 times better.

6. My parent's house! I love going there because Brody gets to enjoy so many outdoor activites and it is just so peaceful and relaxing. Plus we usually get a lot of homecooked meals while we are there!

7. Breakfast Foods! I could eat breakfast foods for every meal. Pop tarts, struedels, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, eggs, pancakes, french toast, hash browns, biscuits....you name it....I love it!
