After a quick drive south we made it to Sulphur so the Christmas celebrations could continue. Everyone was anxious for us to arrive.
Well most everyone. These two didn't look like they cared too much!
Of course the kids wanted to get right to opening presents!
Matt and Bryson assumed their normal position on the couch!
Hannah played Santa and passed out all of the gifts!
It didn't take long for them to start ripping into the gifts! They kind of followed our instructions of one at time and taking turns so we could see what they got.
The guns Bumpy picked out for the boys were a huge hit!
And Meg had her eye on this Pony for so long so she was so happy to receive it!
Mimi gets the girls a Snow Globe each year. Such a special tradition!
Bumpy hit the jackpot again with the army vests and headbands
Bumpy and his boys!
They love their Mimi!
Another hit that Bumpy had picked out were these slimy balls that you could throw and stick on the walls. The kids giggled and giggled over them!
Meg played for hours with all her new ponies!
After all the opening the kids just enjoyed playing together for hours! Meg and Hannah worked on a Lite Brix car
And the boys put together their Star Wars legos
It wasn't long before the kiddos were itching to go outside. The girls got all bundled up!
There was a lot of army guys and Star Wars played.
And go cart riding
And playing on the new treehouse
Matt got the job of getting on the roof to do some repairs
I loved sitting up in the treehouse and watching the kids have so much fun together!
When these two are around Meg gets pretty much whatever she wants
Including Mimi driving her around on the go cart
These two sure have a good time together! We spent the night there and enjoyed playing outside more, playing so many rounds of dots that I lost track, watching movies, and playing Life! We enjoyed another day there before coming home and realizing that Brody had the flu. I was so glad he got it after Christmas so he could still have such a good time!
