As our fabulous summer began to wrap up we knew we had to get into "Back to School" mode. This meant school supply shopping, clothes shopping, and squeezing in all the last minute swimming and fun we possibly could! Finally the Wednesday before school started it was "Meet the Teacher" night. I was probably a lot more excited and anxious than the kids!
We already knew who Meg's teacher would be. The famous Mrs. Kirk. Brody had her for Pre-K and if anyone I know was absolutely meant to be a teacher it was her. She is amazing. She is patient and funny and puts in crazy amounts of time to make sure her kids have an awesome year!
Bryson was running a little behind at work so Brody helped me mark off all the items we were supposed to do on Meg's "checklist".
They were both in the mood to pose that night! I didn't mind!
Best Pre-K Teacher Ever!
This guy was pretty excited to see his classroom and meet his teacher, which was a huge improvement from last year when he couldn't even muster up a smile!
Brody and his teacher Mrs. Therrien. She is brand new to Oakridge and previously taught in Japan. I think she is going to be great and Brody has already said how nice she is!
They both took advantage of her cute little reading corner!
Which would also make a great napping spot!
I was so happy Meet the Teacher was such a success!
