When I decided to take Brody to Germany I told Meg that when I got back I would take her to the American Girl store in Dallas. She gets the catalogs in the mail and had watched the new Saige movie that came on TV and she was so super excited! We stayed the night in Sulphur the night before we went and drove down that morning. It was such an easy, pleasant drive. We listened to Taylor Swift and Bible songs and enjoyed our girl time. I especially enjoyed not listening to any fussing or fighting coming from my backseat!
She knew exactly what she wanted.....Saige!
Saige loves to draw and paint and she loves horses. I think Meg made a great choice!
They even had a matching dress for Meg! It was such a cute dress and the fact that it matched her doll made it even cuter! Meg insisted on changing into it in the bathroom!

The restaurant was darling. They had a high chair for Saige and served her pink lemonade! They had a box of conversation cards. I loved getting to hear Meg's answers and then she pretended to read questions to me. It was a sweet time together!
And they served ice cream sundaes....cant' beat that!

When we got back everyone was out on the boat so we went to join them. Meg changed Saige into her bathing suit. Meg was not in to taking pictures. She wanted Saige to swim with her so bad but we knew it would ruin her. Love one on one time with my babies.
