We had been looking forward to for the first time ever spending Christmas morning at our house! It was so nice that everyone got a good night's sleep. Unfortunately the "blizzard" that was supposed to be heading our way Christmas morning made me a little nervous. We decided to stick with our plan and leave our house around 7 or 8 Christmas morning. Well I woke up to freezing rain at 3:30 that morning and started getting nervous about the roads. I watched the news and heard about a 21 car pile up on the interstate. I got a little panicked and so we ended up waking the kids up about 5:00 and had them hurriedly open their gifts from Santa and then we hit the road so we could spend Christmas with the rest of our family in Sulphur.
The kids didn't seem to mind ripping through the sacks that Santa left them!
So happy she got the Barbie she asked for!
And Brody almost couldn't believe that Santa left him a DS!
It was so fun to see the excitement in their eyes and how happy they were that Santa got them stuff they loved!
