Disney Day 4-More Magic and Epcot

After our big day at Hollywood Studios I wasn't sure I could handle going to Epcot all day like we had planned on.  I just wanted to go back to the Magic Kingdom that was completely kid-centered and where all the magic was.  We got a new game plan together and decided after breakfast at Chef Mickey's we would go to the Magic Kingdom during the morning and then head to Epcot in time for our dinner reservation at Coral Reef at 4:00.

Chef Mickey's was just as great as I had hoped it would be.  The kids loved the characters and we were at a great table for getting lots of hugs and wave from the Fab 5.  Brody even managed to get a kiss from Minnie!  I could tell he wasn't feeling 100% at breakfast because his appetite wasn't what it normally is and he started complaining of his tummy hurting.  I was hoping it would pass quickly!
When we arrived at the Magic Kingdom it was raining so we all wore our ponchos!  Meg was excited to meet Daisy since she wasn't at the breakfast!

While the Rob, Cooper, and Bryson got haircuts at the Main Street Barber Shop I took Brody and Meg to meet Rapunzel, Cinderella, and Belle.
I was so surprised by how many characters we were able to see.  I didn't think the kids would be that interested in it but that just loved it and never got tired of it.  The princesses were all so good and Meg loved interacting with them!
I love these pictures of her acting kind of shy and shrugging her shoulders a bit!  Too cute!

This Rapunzel was about the worst character we met while we were there.  She was struggling that morning.  Not sure if she was sick or stayed out partying a little too much with Flynn Rider the night before!

We then headed to the train station to meet up with everyone else and were pleasantly surprised to see Snow White!

And Snow White left Meg with a big surprise too!
We headed to Splash Mountain and the boys finally got to ride it!  They loved it and it was probably the first of at least 10 times they rode it during the next few days!
Carolina had gotten word about some park guests getting a sneak peak at part of the new Fantasy Land.  She knew the magic words to say and we were let inside Belle's House!

Meg was excited and so were we all.  It was so much fun and very interactive!

They assigned each of the kids (and some adults too) with different parts to "act" out!  Brody was feeling even worse by this point and didn't want to participate.  He had a headache in the back of his head and was fading pretty quickly!
Meg and Cooper were loving the talking Wardrobe!

Belle gave each kid a big hug and a special bookmark at the conclusion of their performance!
As if we hadn't met enough princesses that day we managed to run into Tiana again and Merida!

 Showing off her shooting stance!

Giving Carolina a little love in front of the castle!  After naps and some motrin (for Brody) it was time to head to Epcot!

We ate a delicous meal at Coral Reef and enjoyed seeing the fish in the huge aquarium.  Epcot was practically empty by the time we got there and so we just walked right on to every ride we wanted to do.  We loved the Nemo Ride and the Crush show and loved looking at all the aquariums!

This picture just makes me sad.  I didn't realize it in the moment but this picture just shows how miserable Brody was feeling.

We then ventured over and did Soarin (which was one of mine and Meg's most favorite rides of the trip) and then Rob, Bryson, Brody and I did Mission to Space.  Brody had really been looking forward to this ride.  It was horrible.  Awful.  Brody and I should have listened to the numerous warnings about motion sickness and exited the ride, but instead we listened to Rob and just kept going.  We then should have realized when there were multiple barf bags for each rider, but nope.....we stayed on the ride.  Brody actually handled it better than I did.  I honestly thought I was going to throw up in the ride.  Never. Again.  I had a hard time recovering after that and didn't feel like doing anything.  Bryson had a horrible blister and Brody's headached returned.  The Varner's were going downhill quick!
Carolina had the perfect thing to cheer Brody up.  She had arranged for a phone call for him at the gift shop outside of Mission to Space.  It was Goofy calling to wish him a Happy Birthday!  He thought that was the neatest thing ever.
And these two decided to go all white trash on us and that was enough to at least put a small on my face despite the nausea that just wouldn't go away!

Carolina managed to talk to boys into walking around the countries and then we found a spot to watch the light show and fireworks.  Meg did a little better during this fireworks show than I expected her to.  The show was neat but it didn't have anything on the Hollywood Studios.
By the time we made it outside the park these 3 were still feeling the love.  Notice there are no pictures of my family.  At this point Brody had a fever and had chills all over his legs and was complaining of being cold while the rest of us were all dripping in sweat!
