Summer Fun at the Lake

I love summer for a ton of reasons, but of the things I love most is that my sister and my mom both work at schools and so it means we get to spend extra time together.....especially during the week when we normally wouldn't! Me and the kids headed down on a Monday evening to make it to Mimi and Bumpy's churches VBS and planned to go to the lake the next day and then head home. We ended up staying two nights and coming home late afternoon on Wednesday. But, hey, we can do that.....it's summer!!!

Showing Bumpy how well she can work the Ipad. Every morning Meg and Bumpy always have their cuddle time in the recliner! It is so sweet. They watch cartoons and just snuggle!

That morning we all headed down to the "Point" to enjoy some time out on the lake and a picnic. I just love mom and dad living so close to so many fun outdoor activities.

The jet ski is not only fun for riding around on, but the boys realized was perfect for jumping off too!

Don't you love that dirty water! Would've been nice if I would have remember that my child is supposed to wear ear plus in lake water. Oops!

And KK was the only one brave enough to take Meg out on the jet ski. She kept begging to ride like the big kids and so Kena agreed. I think they went about 5 mph!

So happy!

After 3 hours of fun my kids got tired!

But not tired enough that they ever took a nap.....even after we went back to Mimi and Bumpys. Crazy kids!

After we got all cleaned up, the kids enjoyed a snack, and Hannah fixed Brody and Meg's hair. Don't you love the bow right in the front with the wet hair? Brody opted for a mohawk!

I am so excited at all of the fun that we still get to have this sumer!
