This morning we kicked off our countdown to Christmas. Brody was excited to put the star in the number 1 spot but he was even more excited that today there was a gift!
Meg was less than excited. She just wanted to try on all of the clean clothes that had just been folded. Her new favorite hobby!
Brody was ready. Once again, sorry, he honestly does not wear clothes in the house....ever!
It was a toy manger set and a book
We read the story and then they had fun playing with the people and the animals
Meg preferred the book and Brody preffered the stuffed animals
Somehow after playing with the toy animals they decided to put them all in Meg's crib and that was their house. So they both played in there for a while and then Brody turned himself into a cowboy and found country music on the radio and they danced to that for a long time.
And then the cowboy kept leaving town and coming back into town on his horse. Not sure how the manger and animals inspired all of that, but it kept them very happy this morning. Eventually I convinced the cowboy to eat breakfast and put clothes on so he could ride off to school!
