Trick or Treat

After a little rest time following the Red Ribbon Parade we were so excited to greet Katy, Kennedy, and Finley at our house for Trick or Treating! We first grabbed a little snack and got the kids in their costumes and then were ready to head out! Our first stop was the neighborhood Halloween party. It wasn't anything big but the kids all had a blast!
Power Ranger was ready!

And so was Wonder Woman
If any of you are friends with me on Facebook I have mentioned many times Brody's neighbor friend. He is 9 and a few months ago told me I looked like I was pregnant. You can imagine how I feel about him. Anyways.....this was him dressed up as "Big Daddy" for Halloween. See why I might be concerned???
Wonder Woman needed a snack after all the playing!
These two found some chairs on a porch at the house next to the neighborhood party. They thought they were so funny!
Their first stop!
I wish these two were going to be around each other the next few years. I am sad about Brody and Kennedy not getting to see each other but I think I am more sad about Finley and Meg. They get along so well and I know would be best of friends. 4 years.....we can do it! And then the little octupus will be back!
See.....they love each other!

One of my favorites! Katy has always been one of Meg's favorite people and mine too to be quiet honest! She is the most laid back and non anxious person I know. She is so good with her girls, so much fun, and so creative! I mean the girl has been displaced from her house and hubby for 3 months and is moving her entire family to Germany and you would think it was no big deal at all. Amazing! She has been an incredibly positive influence on me over the last couple of years!
She is one of those friends that I honestly don't know what I did before I knew her!
Meg loves Ariel too!

We were quiet surprised when we were at the halloween party to realize that the electricity had gone out in our neighborhood. We had brought our garage door opener to get back in our house and so we were locked out. Thankfully Gran B came to our rescue and as soon as we got done trick or treating it came back on. But we ended up spending about 4 hours straight outside. We were pooped to say the least! Thanks Gran B for rescuing us!
