Things I love.....

I think as a mom we all have things we just love about our kids and about being a mom. With Meg more than likely being my last child I find myself just mesmerized by all the little things that she does and wanting to remember every last detail. And although I know that just isn't possible here are a few of the things I just love......
* Carrying Meg around on my hip. Although she is a hefty load and doesn't let me do it very often I love being able to walk in places with her before she realizes she needs down.
*The way she squats down so low to check things out that are crawling around on the ground. How she can balance like that for so long amazes me. The other day we spotted a little snake when we were out walking with Cousin Shawn and she couldn't get down low enough to it. And she was move her little booty to block anyone that came close to her snake!
*Her run! There is absolutely no way you can watch her run and not laugh. She runs so fast and with such enthusiasm.
*She is so lovable. She loves giving hugs and kisses and at bedtime she gives each family member (Rosco included) this sweet little side hug and a kiss on the lips!
*How excited she gets when she sees Bryson pull in the driveway. You would thing Minnie Mouse came to see her. She runs and jumps in the truck with him.
*Speaking of Minnie Mouse. We watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in the car a lot and I love when the Hot Dog Dance comes on her feet start to go crazy dancing to the music. And she sings her own version of the theme song.
*Meg is not a talker. She says very few things although I know she can say them but yet she understands everything I say. She is so sweet about doing a lot of the things I ask her to help me with (pick-up toys, throw things away, etc.). And she is trying to steal Brody's job of keeping Rosco's bowl full of food.
*She pees in the potty multiple times a day everyday. She has even peed while we have been out places including the library and church. I think this is so interesting because Brody was such a late potty trainer. We will see if it continues to progress!
*She loves our mailman. The highlight of her and Brody's day is to wait on the curb for the mailman to arrive. I think he gets a kick out of them. He will hand them each their own stack of mail and then they tell him "thank you" and give him big waves. I think a Christmas gift will be in order for our sweet mailman!

I could go on and on....and I am sure I will some other time. I just love being a mom and love all the little things they do!
