Favorite Gifts.....

Now that the weather has started to turn a little cooler (at least on most days) and Halloween gets closer I have noticed that a lot of my mom friends have started talking about Christmas. I think most everyone knows how much I love Christmas and how much I enjoy buying gifts for people so I love talking to others about what they are planning on getting their kids for Christmas so I can get some good ideas! I thought I would share some of my favorite toys that I the kids have received and hopefully it will help you in your Christmas shopping!
Hide and Seek Safari Monkey
Bryson's mom got this gift for Brody for his birthday this year and I think it is the neatest toy! If your kid loves hide and seek or the hot and cold came then they will love this! You hide the monkey somewhere and then the kids use the wand to try to find it. As they get closer to the monkey the wand starts to light up and when they get really close it starts beeping. Meg and Brody both really like it and I hide it throughout the house while I am putting up clothes or cleaning. So much fun! You can find it at Copelins or online!
Watch and Learn Interactive Planetarium
Meg got this for Brody for his birthday and I think it is so cool and so do they! It projects the planets, sun, and moon onto a wall or ceiling. The kids can easily turn the switch to change to another planet and a very scientific voice will tell you what planet it is. Then there are buttons that you can press that will give you additional information about the planet including the size, number of moons, history, etc. You can find this to at http://www.toystogrowon.com/.

Razor Rip Rider 360 Caster Trike

Brody went to a birthday party recently and the little boy had this cool trike. I had never seen anything like it but every kid wanted to ride it and it did the neatest tricks. Brody may end up with one of these for Christmas.

Radio Flyer Scoot and Zoom

Can you tell we like ride on toys around here? This little scooter is only $20 at Wal Mart and is the easiest thing ever to ride. You can get around fast and easy and so far no one has tipped over on it!

Hide & Squeak Eggs

Meg got this for Christmas last year and it has continued to be something that she has played with. I love it because she can do different stuff with it everytime and she really uses her imagination to do random stuff with the different eggs!

Laugh & Learn Tea Set
Meg got this Little Teapot from the Cunninghams for her first birthday and she plays with it everyday. She loves the noises it make but I think she likes that she can hide little things inside the lid.
Fisher Price Loving Family Mini Van

Meg has had this car and the people that go with it since this summer and I love it. It makes a number of sounds and plays music but what I love most of all is that both doors open and the roof is open. She can easily get the people in and out and she can play cars with Brody but now she has a girly car!
