A love of dogs and water....
After our hot trip to campus we headed south for a couple of days of fun with the family. Meg was happy to be greeted by her cousins and Hannah was happy to start doing what she does best, take care of Meg!
Let's go find the toys
Somehow this managed to happen! Not sure how Hannah and Meg got the boys to do this. It didn't last long!
That evening we decided the kids needed some fresh air so we headed to the Chickasaw National Park!
The big kids enjoyed exploring and swimming in the cold water, for a little bit. Brody later decided the water was nasty and he likes clean water!
The next day we went out to Hannah and Huston's house. They wanted to show Meg their new puppies. She wasn't sure at first but she warmed up pretty quick!

Kena is proud to claim that she taught Meg how to catch a ball so they like to play when they get together!
Meg met Bebe, who is Wes and Melissa's dog from down the street, a couple of months ago. She thinks this dog is SO funny. This last visit was no exception. She made sure that Bebe still got plenty of attention even with the new puppies around!
More petting
I love how she is looking at Hannah
And of course Hannah did exactly what Meg wanted her to
That afternoon on our way home we stopped at the Wynnewood Pool for a couple of hours. It is outings like this that make me miss living in a small town. 1). It was dirt cheap to get in. It costs us $18 to go to the public pool by our house. It think it costs us $6 total to get in here. 2). There was barely anyone there. 3). You could basically do what you wanted to. No one telling you that the kids can/can't have lifejackets on, you can't have floaties, no toys, etc. It was nice and relaxing! 4). The pool is huge and they have a fenced in 1 foot baby pool area and a 2 foot pool area. It was perfect for the kids. Now....the bathrooms still left much to be desired, but who needs a bathroom anyways???
