The beginning of our good-bye....

Anyone who has been around me very much knows how much I love the Moone Family. Katy and I became friends when I was pregnant with Meg and she was pregnant with Finley. I remember the night we meet just like it was yesterday. We were outside in the front yard playing with Brody and they were out walking with Kennedy. Kennedy, being the social butterfly that she is, just started to play with Brody. I remember thinking in my head....they live in our neighborhood, she has a kid Brody's age, and she is having another baby the same time I am.....this is perfect. God really knows what he is doing. In this short amount of time I have come to love Katy and her family so very much and that is why it makes me so sad that they are leaving for Germany in the next few months (yes....GERMANY!). I can't get mad....he is in the Air Force and all. And they hope to move back in a few years (keeping my fingers crossed). Well we are trying to squeeze in as much time as possible with them before they head out and so we were thrilled to attend their going away bbq a few weeks ago!

I am not sure their friends without kids thought all of the noise was music to their ears!

Be prepared for more pictures of the Moone family! We have about 2 weeks to squeeze in time with them. And I guess their moving will be what motivates me to take a family vacation to Germany. I can't even imagine my kids (or me) on a flight that long. But to hang out with them....I will do it!
