Fun Weekend....

When we woke up on Saturday morning we didn't have that much planned. Just a t-ball game. Well shortly after 7:00 we got a call that t-ball was cancelled and so we decided to make the most of our free Saturday. We debated a lot of things, but decided on a trip to the zoo! Bryson hadn't been with us this year so I thought it would be fun for all....and it was!
Meg is CRAZY about the carousel! She waves at random people!
Cousin Shawn joined us for the adventure. He is SO helpful with the kids and Brody just loves him! Since Bryson was with us I let the kids see the sea lion show. We will probably never see it again. It is a little boring for my active ones!

The kids liked this trick though!
After arriving home me and the kids took serious naps! Every since I started staying at home with them I have never been so tired in my life. I never needed naps before. I am worn out now though! We couldn't decide what to do that evening and had a couple of options. I told Bryson to decide by the time we woke up. I was so happy when I woke up and he told me we were going to the Alexander's house with Scott and Tiffany for dinner. He even had made a trip to Wal-Mart and cooked bacon wrapped jalapenos and his special beans to take over there. All I had to do was get the swim bag ready!
Scott is a fraternity brother of Bryson's and worked at Baker Hughes with him. Him and Tiffany got married back in December (remember when Brody danced like crazy at their reception?) and are expecting their first baby later this year. They went to high school with the Alexanders (whose son Cooper goes to Gingerbread with Brody and they play t-ball together). Mutual friends are great! They have a beautiful house and an incredible pool. Meg loved it!
I love that they rigged up a slide for the kids! Brody and Cooper played nonstop for hours. No fussing or fighting.....just constant swimming! It was wonderful!

They also have a little boy, Caise, that is a few months older than Meg. They had a great time together. He is a cutie and such a good little dancer! For some reason they enjoyed searching in the plants!
Enjoying dinner after all that swimming!
After dark the big boys helped the little boys chicken fight! I wish I would've got better pictures, but two kids around water make me one nervous momma! So safety won over pictures that night!
