Monster Weekend

On Saturday we were all very excited to head to Dallas for the Monster Truck Show at the new Dallas Cowboy Stadium. Gran B was brave enough to make the trip with us and we met up with Aunt B once we arrived in Dallas! Meg enjoyed getting spoiled by her MiMi and Bumpy and Aunt KK, Hannah, and Huston in Sulphur! She did so good for them taking naps and sleeping all night (I think they will keep her again!).

After a very quik trip to Ikea we headed to the Cowboys Stadium with our Pit Pass in hand. After getting herded like cattle down to the floor of the stadium we had complete access to the monster trucks and their drivers! It was so much fun!

After taking pictures with the trucks we had some time to kill before the show so we grabbed some food and hung out before finding our seats (that were three rows from the top of the stadium). I felt like I was climbing a mountain. Brody enjoyed playing with his own monster trucks inside JerryWorld.
And after a very long day we arrived at Brandon and Allison Lee's house around 10:30 that night. They were nice enough to let us stay in their garage apartment and Brody thought it was so cool. We were all so tired but he kept saying things like "Wow, they have a fridge. Oh neat they have a TV. Oh look at this shower." And then he found the eliptical. I was shocked that he could actually do it! Thank you so much Lee Family!!!

After a great breakfast at Buzz Brew's and a quik trip to a park we headed back north. It was nice to get away and makes me long for a real vacation with Meg along for the ride as well!
