1. She walks backwards. I don't know whether she is trying to do the moon walk like her daddy or what, but she will slowly walk backwards with the cutest little grin on her face. So precious.
2. She is quite a little talker. I think Bryson is already trying to adjust to the added noise level. If her paci is out there is constant jabbering coming out of her mouth.
3. She has really started to use her hands to communicate. She does a move with her hands that is very similar to Patrick Dempsey's dance moves in Can't Buy Me Love. Sometimes this is when she is dancing and other times when she really wants something and can't have it or we can't get it to her quick enough.
4. I have finally realized what an easy baby she is as long as a) She feels good and 2) She gets what she wants in a reasonable amount of time (which in her mind is NOW). This is really only when it comes to wanting to eat or wanting her bottle of milk. I took her to a wedding in Ada last weekend and we were gone a long time and she only slept 20 minutes the whole day and was still such a happy girl! I received a number of comments on what a good girl she was. That's when it dawned on me how lucky I am. The girl sleeps from around 6 or 7 every night to about 7 or so every morning. And if she is home will take a 2 to 3 hour nap during the day. Don't be too jealous though....Brody still wakes up a few times a night!
5. The girl is still obsessed with her bottle. We trade off between rice milk and soy milk and she loves them both, but she just loves them in a bottle. She will drink out of a sippy cup and a straw, but when it comes nap time or bedtime she wants the bottle. And I don't really care that she is almost 14 months and is still taking one. I am pretty sure Suri Cruise was over 2 and still carrying one around. If Meg is 2 and still drinking out of a bottle I give you permission to have an intervention with me!
6. She does a little running in place thing with her feet. Hard to describe but so cute! And she knows it is cute too!
7. In the bathtub she likes to lay on her belly and does this move that looks like a worm. She gets the water all splashing and just has a great time!
8. In the car she moves her feet and legs to the music that is playing. So funny to look back there and see her legs getting after it!
9. She has discovered that she has hair. I have seen her pulling at the hair in the back a few times and had to really redirect her. I don't want her to start pulling out her hair or developing a habit!
I could not love my sweet little girl any more!
