A Ladies Man???

So Bryson asked me the funniest question today. Do you think Brody is a ladies man? I just had to laugh. Why you ask would he think this? A couple of reasons.
1) When I dropped Brody off at Gingerbread today he was so excited about going on his fieldtrip to the OKC zoo. He told me that he wanted to hang out with Cooper and Reese. Reese is a girl who was in his class last year. She is a cute little girl, but she LOVES Lightning McQueen. She wears LM undies and rain boots. I think this is hilarious. Of course that would be the girl Brody chooses to like. Well it was his lucky day. She got there right after we did and she was just as excited to see him. They quickly got on the bus together and her mom and I just sat there and stared wondering why they could care less about leaving us. This is a good thing though, right?
2) Well we all know how Brody loves his friend Kennedy. On Monday we met Katy, Kennedy, and Finley at the library as well as a friend of Katy's and her two kiddos. We went to storytime. The kids enjoyed it, but Kennedy and Brody could not keep their hands off of each other. They constantly had their arms around each other's shoulders or they were hugging each other or they were crawling over the other one. They looked like they were that teenage couple who you get annoyed with because the excessive PDA (well, kind of). Of course Katy and I thought it was funny.
Cute cousin Hannah at the State Fair
Boy that slide was fun. I tried not to think about how disgusting those sacks we were sliding down must have been.

Before Disney on Ice
Not sure that my pirate knives were the best party favor
Meg and Finley at the party. I have to watch Meg a lot more than Brody now. She is always trying to attack sweet Finley. It doesn't seem to bother her. Finley must be tough!
The boys enjoying getting pushed all around the State Fair. You could tell they don't typically get to ride in a stroller because they ate it up. Huston didn't even want to walk a few feet without getting back in the stroller. I seem to remember a couple of years ago we couldn't keep them in the stroller.
Getting ready to rock out

KK and that Frog are pretty funny

We found out yesterday that this sweet little thing has double ear infections. She had been pulling at her ear since Monday but other than that acted normal. That is until she woke up from a nap late Wednesday afternoon. It was quite evident that was going downhill. I quickly decided to take her to the Urgent Care Center in hopes that we could still make it to church and I knew I had to go to work the next day. Well Urgent Care was slammed with all of these people sick with the flu.....yuck! We waited forever. Shouldn't there be a quick pass for people with a screaming/miserable baby?? My favorite comments from our visit. The first thing the receptionist says is, "Wow...she is big. How old is she?" After I answer she says, "Oh. Well that's ok. Don't worry. Big babies are cute." Ummm....I am not worried and yes I think my baby is the cutest. She later quizzed me about where in Moore I live and tried to convince that I should've went to the Urgent Care there because it would've been closer. I wanted to explain that I wasn't stupid, but unfortunately I was trying to calm a screaming baby. The other random thing is none of the people could figure out if I was Meg or if the baby was Meg. This has never happened before, but finally the nurse said, "Well Meg is such a grown-up name I thought for sure that it had to be you." While these comments make me concerned about the people providing care to my baby I will try to let it slide and think they are just delusional from all of the sick people. Despite being sick Meg learned to wave (kind of) today. She puts her hand out and trys to wave it. Progress.
Brody enjoyed his trip to the zoo today. My dad called me at 7 this morning and said he had decided to go on the field trip. He surprised Brody at the zoo. I am glad he went because now I have some cute pictures. He also told me that he was one of the most well behaved kids there. Now that makes me happy. Is what makes Bryson happy is that Brody is riding his bike without training wheels. We are so very proud of him. I promise to get my camera out soon.
One of my favorite pictures now

I think this one belongs in a frame. Too bad he has that bandana on.

What cute pictures! AND, for the record...Meg is the cutest and I LOVE her name! Some people are so dumb...I mean, really!!! Looking forward to seeing y'all on Saturday! I hope she feels better soon. LM always tugs on her ears...but it usually is when she's sleepy...what other signs did you notice??

Just a quick note to say that last picture definitely belongs in a frame BECAUSE of that bandana! That is a memory to keep!
