Let me tell you....this girl LOVES to eat! When we go out to a restaurant we are all done and she is still going to town in her highchair. She is pretty much done with baby food. She wants all finger foods! I finally picked up on this and went to the store yesterday so I would be prepared for this new stage. So for breakfast she usually gets a waffle (one of the healthy kind), yogurt, and some type of fruit cut up. For lunch today she had whole wheat cheese ravioli, avacado, and butternut squash. Here recently she has also had corn on the cob, breadsticks, and turkey. I am so impressed with how good she does getting that food in her mouth. She could not be more different than Brody at this age!Other new things with Meg....
*She is so very pleasant and happy. Especially now that she is getting over her ear infections. It is so nice to have such a happy go lucky baby. I am very thankful for this.
*She doesn't like to sit still. She is constantly moving and doesn't like to just be held. This reminds me so much of Brody.
*She has started talking a lot. She has officially said da-da, ma-ma, na-na, and ya-ya. Of course she isn't directing these "words" at anyone but those are the sounds that come out when she is talking. She really hadn't said anything until last weekend and she started talking non-stop once she started. She started with da-da and has just added the others in the last week.
*She got a third tooth on the bottom. Still working on the top ones!
*She is easy to get to sleep. Just rock her or feed her and once she is asleep you can quickly lay her down.
*She is getting harder to nurse. I have to give her bottles more. She is just too active! Everything is a distraction.
*Started putting things in her little fishbowl and takes them out too!
