Halloween, Purple Power and A Look Back....

Last week Brody and I finally ordered his Halloween costume. After browsing the options he decided to be a Transformer. Does he know what a Transformer is? No. Has he ever seen Transformers? No. Does he think he looks super cool in his costume? You bet!! He thought as soon as we purchased it that it would arrive at our door. I wish! Instead it came tonight and he was one happy camper.
Brody enjoyed staying with his MiMi and Bumpy last night so I could go to work this morning. Sounded like he had a good time. According to him he got caught in the rain at Sulphur Park, got his hair messed up, saw Nana and Papa, spotted a deer, took a picture of the deer, and saw a big dog. He came home smelling like cologne that he said Bumpy put on his face. When he left my mom he said, "I sure am going to miss you". I think they will let him come back. The other funny story according to my parents came at bedtime. Dad was going to bed and was trying to convince Brody to sleep with him. Brody said he wanted to sleep with MiMi. Dad gave him a hard time and Brody finally said, "Bumpy, I only like girls". Dad didn't argue with that!
I looked back through Brody's 8 month pictures to do a little comparing. He had 5 teeth at this point and Meg just has two. I think they are looking less alike? What do you think? I guess that is good since she is a GIRL. She is SO much bigger than he was!

Brody is laughing not crying

Looking pretty for church. She later pooped all over her tights. Oh well....at least I got a picture!
They love each other....they really love each other!

Wearing my glasses
Meg got her first taste of deliciousness last week. A waffle. She ate it so secretively. Like she didn't want anyone to take it! Her hair is getting more and more RED. She is finally bouncing back from her double ear infections. I really enjoyed spending the afternoon with just her today. This rarely happens and it was so much fun to just focus on her. I found out that she loves for me to crawl around the kitchen table and hide from her and then peek through the chairs at her. She just giggles and giggles. She also loves when I make airplane noises with her food. And the other day we played with one of her tutus and I thought she was going to lose it. So easily amused. Love it!
