- She can sit up by herself for short amounts of time
- Still in Size 3 diapers
- Loves sucking on her thumb
- Just recently found her feet but is still not that interested in them
- Still sleeps from around 8 to 6 every night and is still swaddled. Probably need to break that habit sometime but she LOVES it
- Has finally got on a great nap routine. Usually takes a shorter nap in the morning and then a long one in the afternoon
- I can tell she is getting close to letting out a big belly laugh but it hasn't happened just yet
- We still get comments all the time about how big she is, how she doesn't miss a meal, how we better go feed her because it looks like she is starving, etc. And everytime I just love it. I love having a happy/chubby little baby
- She is SO happy. She just lights up and smiles when you talk to her.
- We aren't starting solids until at least six months. Funny how the second time around you are in no hurry to do this. I just want her to stay a baby. I don't need her eating food!
- She doesn't care too much for the heat. She gets a heat rash so easily and sweats like no other baby I have seen. Her hair will be dripping in it!
A little swim wore her out so she took a little nap poolside
This is Meg in a sleeper that my Aunt Brenda bought for my sister when she was pregnant back in 2001 before she had a miscarriage. Aunt Brenda passed away a short time later and this is the only baby item we have from her so it is VERY special to us. Hannah, Huston, Brody, and Macy (my cousin's daughter) have all worn it and so I put Meg in it today. I sure hope Meg will have some of the same spunk and generosity that Brenda had. I have put a picture of Brody in the sleeper below. They are both 5 months in these pictures and I think you will agree that there are some similarities!

Awww, she sweats like her daddy!
She's a keeper, for sure. And I definitely do see the resemblance between Brody and Meg in the 5 month shots. Very cool.
