My Brody Man

There have been a number of things that Brody has been saying/doing that I figure I better right down or I will forget.

  • When he gets really dizzy he says, "That make me busy". No matter how many times we tell him that he is really dizzy in his head he is always busy"

  • He does the same thing with motorcycle. He thinks it is motormyster.

  • His signature thing is bear hugs. He gives the best bear hugs ever. They can actually really make you feel better. I always get at least two bear hugs and about 10 kisses when we are waiting in line at Gingerbread.

  • Things he currently loves: race car games on Bryson's phone, Clifford the Big Red Dog, swimming pools, Gran B's Wii, the jet ski, and the lake.

  • I always tell him that he is my favorite boy in the whole wide world and one night in bed he leaned over and said, "You the best mommy in the whole wide world. I miss you. I love you!" So sweet!

  • He is so unpredictable. You never know if he is going to like something or not. He is starting to get more bold doing certain things like swimming, dancing in front of people, etc. But yet he still gets all freaked about other things like going to Vacation Bible School, singing at school, etc.

  • He is LOVING having his daddy home. They have so much fun together.

  • He wants to fly. Like superman. I have told him you have to have a super power to do that and so he wants me to go by him a super power. I wish it was that easy!

  • He is very curious about where people live. He knows that he lives in Norman and where all of his relatives live. He loves the map that comes up during the weather forecast and wants to know where everyone lives on the map.

  • He is also is very interested in who people are. He will see people walking while we are driving and he will say, "You know that girl" and I will tell him that I don't and he will say, "Me not know that girl either." But he wants to know everyone!

  • He is starting to interact with Meg a lot more. He thinks she can play a little bit know and so I can see him getting a little more hands on at times. Unfortunately this also means he is a little rougher. I see them having a lot of fun together in the future!!

    • Brody and his friend Sterling having fun at the Pollock's
      Flying like Superman

Completely crashed out watching the Cosby Show

He really likes having his picture taken right now

The exercauser is just as entertaining to Brody as it is to Meg. And it makes a great chair for watching cartoons!

What a sweet boy. LOVE those big ol' hugs. My Alec is also a hugger and a kisser. Sweeter than sweet.

The kids at our church nursery love to get in the exersaucers and spin as fast as they can. Has Brody tried this one?

Brody looks like such a sweet big brother!

This is a great post....all of these things remind me in some way of the things Bailey did at that age. Bailey still can't remember that it is "Hello Kitty" no matter how many times we correct her. She says "Fellow Kitty." LOL!

Both kids are so cute and sweet!
