Little Stinkerboy

I think entries including the funny things that Brody says and does will continue to be a regular feature as he continues to expand his vocabulary. I want to document them all because I know how easy it will be to forget!

• We were out walking the other day exploring the arboreteum the city is building in our neighborhood. Brody must have gotten frustrated with me about something because out of nowhere he said, "Momma Barner". It was so funny. I guess Ilena must be a little hard for him to say.
• Brody always gets sad when we have to leave Rosco at home. So our routine is to always give him a treat and say bye to him in the laundry room before we head out. We were doing our normal stuff and Brody said, "See you later alligator".
• When Cooper was over at our house Saturday Brody said, "Cooper win. Cooper come out. Meg not win". I guess he thought Meg and Cooper were having a race and Cooper won since he came out first!
• I guess I have gotten in the habit of calling Rosco "Little Stinkerboy" when he does something wrong. Brody has picked up on this and started calling himself Little Stinkerboy when he does something he thinks is funny or when he toots. On the way to see Huston on Thursday Brody decided that Huston was the real Little Stinkerboy!
• When I lay down with Brody he loves to cuddle and so I have always put my arm around him, but lately he has been saying "Don't do that" and then he adds, "Hands to your body people, Hands to your body". I couldn't figure out what he was talking about and I finally asked if that is what his teachers say at school and he said yes. I think he took it to the extreme.
