Meg's Art Party!!!

For Meg's 4th Birthday Party she made it very clear what kind of party she wanted.  An Art Party!  It didn't surprise me since she spends the majority of her day cutting, glueing, painting, coloring, and taping.  Hours and hours of art every single day!  Since I am about the most unartistic person around, I was very thankful for Pinterest and all the wonderful ideas I found on there!
She had counted down for weeks and had been decorating our house (even though the party was at our church) in anticipation of her party.  To say she was excited would be an understatement!
Rockin the party hat she picked out!

I love how the art palette cookies turned out and they were so yummy!
We went with a rainbow theme and I loved how bright everything was!
These rice krispy paintbrushes were so easy to make and I thought they were delicious!

We had 8x10 canvases that the kids could paint!  I loved seeing what everyone created and we had enough leftover that some of the adults made their own masterpieces toward the end of party.
We also had a table where the kids could make their own cupcakes!
Still can't believer our baby girl is 4!  Bryson had been giving me a hard time saying the party was going to be so messy and that all he imagined was paint flying everywhere and cupcakes smashed into the carpet.  Because of this I tried to invite mostly older friends and not as many kids.  Well it up being the most calm, laid back party.  There were no paint disasters and we didn't even have to vacuum afterwards.  I wished I had gone ahead and invited Meg's littlest friends too!

We also had Lawrence come and do balloon animals and face painting.  He made the party so much fun and was amazing!  I wish I had counted how many balloon animals he made!

Mimi and Bumpy
Grandmother and Grandad with the birthday girl!
She sure loves the Kite girls!

Most of the girls started off painting!
Grand B and Aunt B were so helpful and they both created beautiful artwork for Meg and Brody's rooms!

Huston and Brody never sat down.  Once they had a "Jet Pack" they insisted on running up and down the hallways.

Bridgette turned Baby Caleb's handprints into the cutest fish painting!
The cupcake she decorated!

Cooper and his alien balloon!
Hudson and Whitney

After everyone received their balloon animal it was finally face painting time!  Meg picked the Pony Princess.  I thought it was a tad creepy.

 She loved it though!
Mimi made Meg the polka dotted cake she asked for!

This picture is so Georgia.  I love her!
Trying to decide what face painting to pick

Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee

I couldn't look at Kayton without cracking up!
Stephanie and Baby C were there!

Case and Cooper had a good time together!

Carolina made Meg the cutest twirler outfit with a matching hairclip!  Meg is too cute in it!

These 3 look like trouble!

Loved having Amy and her daughter Sally there!
Loved all the artwork on display!
