Since Meg was little I have anxiously anticipated when she would get to play on her first sports team! She has always been so active and loves watching Brody do all of his sports. And I think she has always been pretty athletic. So as soon as I saw that the Y had a soccer season starting for her age group I was ready to sign her up. I obviously had a moment of insanity because I volunteered to be her coach. Never. Again.
The season actually wasn't that bad, but it was hard to manage 10 three year olds during practices and games and while I do still think Meg is athletic, she got tired of playing soccer not long after each game started!
Giving Rob some loving before the first game. Soccer was so much more fun having our friends on our team. Her and Cooper were so cute together, although we all agree they probably both would've played a little better if they weren't so distracted with holding hands and hugging each other mid court.
Too cute!
This is when the first tears were shed during soccer season. Appalled by the grey t-shirt she had to wear that was too big!
Bryson and I trying to give the Ladybug and Lions a pep talk. Meg was the only girl on the team with 9 other boys!
I love watching her run!
Getting tired!
She was mad at someone
I am so glad my dad caught this on camera. I can't believe she did this!
Little toot!
Her and Cooper always made sure they stayed together
Grandmother and Grandad are two of her biggest fans! Look at how sweaty she gets!
This is how a lot of kids ended up during the game. On the floor!
Meg making sure Cooper got his turn kicking the ball
These two boys in front were so good that it was hard for anyone else on our team to kick the ball!
6 of our 10 players. Only one game did we have everyone there to play!
Scoring a goal!
Her and Case are so cute together too! She loves Cooper and Case and goes back and forth on who she will marry. She says she will either be Meg Cunningham or Meg Alexander.
Soccer is so tiring!!!
